The Action
When dealing with the topic of sexual health, we partnered with Health Enhancement to present to UNIV. 101 students about safe sex practices and feeling comfortable with one's own body. In doing so, we first observed Health Enhancement and how they conducted their own presentations to students. We then gathered the necessary materials and information provided to us by our campus partner and gave our own presentation while being guided by one of their health educators. The students seemed to be very open and responsive to what we had to say. We made sure to ask a lot of questions and did some activities to keep them involved.

We also signed up to help with the Condom Counter located near their office on campus. The Condom Counter allows students to get up to ten free condoms per day. There is an assortment of condoms that come in different sizes, brands, and flavors for the students to choose from. This helps promote STI prevention and safe sex practices. Many students appreciate the Condom Counter for financial reasons and the practicality of it. Since it is located on campus and is free, the students take advantage which helps make that positive impact on sexual health.
Problems that we Address:
Addressing sexual health on campus is important because it allows students to be able to attain knowledge and information on safe sex practices while in college. Improving this health can help STI prevention as well as the understanding and comfort with one’s own body. This will allow college-aged students to become advocates for sexual health along with their own attitudes and behaviors regarding sex.

Role of Health Enhancement:
For our action project, our resources included handouts with information on sexual health that Health Enhancement provided for us, as well as the knowledge and information we gained from their presentations and tutorial. They also provided the necessary materials such as handouts, diagrams, and other tutorial items that aided in our presentation to UNVI 101 classes. Also, if we needed articles or any other resources for the research component, Health Enhancement agreed to provide us with knowledge on the topic. For the condom counter, we were supplied with condoms and other handouts from Health Enhancement.

Condom Counter
Success!
We believe that our action was a success based on positive feedback from Health Enhancement, the students in which we presented to on campus, as well as the students who visited the condom counter. As a group we reflected on how we felt about how we conducted our project overall, and we believe that our outcome had a positive effect on sexual health on campus as well as gender equality in general.
We believe that students should take similar action because it is a great way to help promote and distribute knowledge to others on campus as well as in the community. This topic is something that is extremely important in our society and is something that we should all be aware of.
